Pinterest Project - Day 4 {Recycled T-shirt Bib}

One of my favorite things to sew right now are baby items, especially bibs!
With my own pattern, I can turn out a few bibs at a time.
But I love to find new patterns and ideas from other people.

I found A Little Tipsy's Recycled T-shirt Bib and knew I needed to make it!
She's got a GREAT tutorial on her site, including how to make this shirt with either a t-shirt or a toddler button-down shirt.  (That's next on my list!)
I've got this project pinned in my Stuff To Make board!

Recycled T-shirt Bib

I'm not going to re-create the tutorial - her's is just TOO good. :)
So I'll just share a few pics of what I worked with and how it turned out.

Here is the before t-shirt:
An old stained shirt from my hubby's side of the closet.
{Hoping he won't mind that I swiped it - it is for the baby, after all!}

This is a rough picture of how I lined up the pattern on the t-shirt.
I wanted to utilize as much of the neck line as I could.

And this is the finished bib!

*I just utilized the rest of the t-shirt for the other layers of the bib.  I did three total layers.

  1. This is a great idea and has SO many different ways you could make it personal. Now I need to know someone who is having a baby! :)
