Pinterest Project - Day 15 {Simple Applique Onesies}

Today's little project is a SUPER quick one, but oh so sweet!
We are having quite the week over here and between one kid with a broken neck (!!) and another home sick from school, I needed to make something with some instant gratification!

In my Stuff to Make board, I've pinned Daffodil Design's DIY Applique Onesies.
They have provided really cute, simple applique templates that you can download and use.
I'm in love with the elephant shape!
I'm currently trying to use up my fabric stash, but I plan to make TONS of these little shirts for my baby-to-be very soon in all kinds of prints!
I mean, who needs plain white onesies when it's so easy to make them this cute?!

Baby's Elephant Onesie!

The next time I use this template, I'm going to do two elephants!
I'll do a mama elephant at the normal size, then I'll reduce and print another and make a baby elephant using a coordinating fabric!
I'm already planning out my fabric purchase for this.
And of course he'll have a few matching burp cloths before the day is out!
