One of my favorite things to do - when it's not hot as heck outside - is to have a picnic with my kids.
When I found the Sandwich Cozy from Smashed Peas and Carrots, I wanted to make a few right away!
I love the idea of reusable food "containers" that are NOT going to harm my kiddos!
(All the plastic stuff honestly scares me just a little!)

Maggie has done a wonderful tutorial for how to make this - including using up your scrap material!
I did not have suitable scraps, so I just used fabric I had on hand.

I love that this isn't just a sandwich or lunch bag - it unfolds completely flat so it's like a placemat too!
Ok - go follow all her EASY instructions and come join me out back for lunch in the grass!
